So as you would have known, I re-joined my previous workplace with a condition that one of my bosses - the lady boss had decided to do something else with her life. And of course, due to the increased pay.
Unfortunately, she is starting to have her presence back in the office.
My male boss - her husband, claimed that he had decided to engage her expertise to take on a "project" which is a Conference this August.
I was taken aback since I had wanted to "learn" to plan Conferences.
I am able to handle events planning and execution etc for a 4hour duration of the event. but never a full day Conference (like finding a designer for brochure, goodie bags, sponsorships etc)
So when she took this on as a "project", I know how it will end up.
She would "plan" and "execute" everything from the start without telling us what is happening. (She assumes we know via reading emails that she sent out to speakers and vendors etc). At the end of the day, expect us to pick it up the bits and pieces.
There was a time in 2014 when I was still new and "helped" her with a Conference.
I didn't figure out what was happening or what I was doing till I literally had to "finish" up whatever was started.
My male boss also told me that he had engaged her to redevelop another client's website. There will be another client's training program to plan for in July. He told me he would have her involved as well.
Looks like I will be seeing her almost every other day in the office now.
Good bye to peaceful life in office.
We thought being "jobless" (like she always tell others) would calm her soul and mind. I heard she even took some pilates class.
But I guess she is the same should I say "maniac" or control freak like last time. Even little things become such a big thing. She overeacts and always angry. I have no idea why. Seriously. Wondering if she is undergoing menopause or something. she is about 45 and never gave birth before. Cannot be menopause right?
Just hoping for a smooth workflow this year.
Please pray for me ok. In sya allah all will be well. Amin.
