My Gynae

This entry is specially for me to remember my first experience with this gynae and for those mummy-to-be's who may be looking around for a gynae to aid through her pregnancy.

My gynae, Dr Aziz whose clinic is in Kembangan Plaza was recommended to me by my mum. Yup, she took the same gynae to deliver my brother 15 years ago. Initially hubby wanted Dr Khoo from KK to be the gynae. But since Dr Khoo is his army buddy and after much thought, I was a bit shy knowing that they are connected and hence decided to drop the idea.

On 25th May, the day that the test kit was positive, husband and I went to see Dr. Aziz. Initially I was unsure and was a bit uncomfortable to know that a guy doctor will be aiding me in my pregnancy. However, after the first visit, we immediately liked him!

He is funny, jokes around, friendly and made us feel very comfortable with him. I wasnt even awkward at all when I lie down on the "bed" and had him scan my tummy for the first time. And I still remember how husband and I were grinning every inch of our faces when Dr Aziz confirmed I was 6 weeks pregnant.

As time passes, we could talk and ask the doctor about anything that was in our minds. He was assuring even when I was going to the operating theatre.

I just did my review with him earlier this week about my stitch, and will be seeing him again in 2 months time for further review. In 2 months time, one of the agenda will be counselling on family planning.

So mummies-to-be, this is definitely one gynae that you can consider. Upon recommendation, I understand that a friend of mine also took the same gynae to deliver her first newborn which will be out soon...
