Before I start updating on my progress (and baby), today is the day that I turned 25! Happy 25th Birthday to me!! Alhamdullilah, I have been living my life for 25 full years, and I believe I had made it a full life living within my capacity....
When tomorrow comes, it will be hubby's birthday. He turned 30 this year, and not to forget, tomorrow is also our very first year wedding anniversary!!! This time last year, I was solemnized to the man that I had known for almost 10 years. I'm glad all worked out fine. And insyallah by early next year, we will be having our very own junior... Her "appearance" to this world is well waited by almost everyone we know. Hope all will be well, insyallah.
Back to the usual updates, I went for my bi-weekly check-up last Thursday, 16th Dec 2010. By right, I was supposed to be in my 35++ to 36th weeks pregnant. Either the scan wasnt accurate from the beginning or my baby is a bit big, the scan showed that I am at my 37 weeks already!! Can you believe it, my baby is already full term and I have about 3 more weeks to go!
Time flies real fast, I must admit. I really felt it was only yesterday that I tested on the kit and saw the plus sign. Seems like only yesterday I was down with my morning sickness etc and now, I already almost reach the end of my journey. Soon, I will be able to cradle "the thing" inside me in my arms. I really can't wait.
Anyways, from 2 weeks ago, I gained another 1.7 kg, now bringing my weight to 62.9kg. Baby was 2.4kg 2 weeks ago and is now weighing a healthy 3kg... Some people told me before that they said due to my small built, my baby will be smaller and weighs lesser than 3kg.. Apparently they are wrong! She is now at 3kg and growing more.
Whatever the weight is, hopefully baby is fine and growing well. That's all I ask.
And after the scan, my EDD changed. I was due to give birth sometime around 14 jan 2011. But after the check last thursday, my gynae asked me to come again on 31st Dec where we'll do the scan again and the vaginal examination thingy. If the cervix (or sthg) is open by more than 2cm, then I'll be admitted to the hospital that day itself, and chances are, she maybe a new year baby. But of course if the cervix is not open, then we'll patiently wait for her to come out on her own.
So there peeps, it is now 18 dec. Seems like I have only a few days left to do whatever else preparation needed before a junior one comes along. So far, all baby stuffs have been bought from her playpen, diapers and all the way to minyak telon.
Well, do pray for me and hopefully I can have a normal, smooth delivery.
Oh lastly, I went to Parkway East Hospital last thursday as well to have the pre-admission registration. Some paperwork regarding the use of husband's medisave etc. And did I mention the hospital in the inside doesnt look like a hospital at all??? Upon entering the main entrance, there's this guy who is like a bellboy asking where we want to go. The lobby looks like a hotel lobby and there's valet parking as well! Is that cool or what? We registered ourselves for a single bedder, let's hope the room also has the hotel standard. At least what I'm paying for will be all worthwhile... hahaha
Till then!
