Today, I went to relief-teach in a kindergarten. The teacher of the K2 class, whom is also my friend, had gone on a 4-month maternity leave. So since the centre is short of teachers, I decided to use my morning to earn some cash...
The children knew that their teacher is pregnant. Coincidentally another teacher who is teaching in the class beside mine is also pregnant...So after informing the children that I will be teaching them till Friday, one of the kids stood up and came to me.
While holding my tummy, this conversation took place:
Kid: Teacher, is there a baby inside here too? (while touching my tummy)
Me: Stunned... Er, no not yet! LAYAN....
I guess there maybe some underlying meanings to the whole conversation. Or is it just pure innocence from his part?
I don't know, GO FIGURE!
