We were sick!

The past three weeks had been disastrous. Not that im not 'redha' over what happened but it was the most difficult time ever.

Lil angel got bugged with flu. The first visit was to my family doctor near my place. Chong medical clinic is the name. She was given some phlegm and running nose medicine. 2 days later, she got cough. And again, we went to see dr chong.

Then the next day, my nightmare started. Lil angel kept crying and crying. Non-stop. To make it worse, she couldnt sleep either. Kept crying. And we thought she was teething. I read online on how to ease the teething pain, made ice lollies gave gripe water etc but nothing works. Hubby and i made the decision to see her paedtrician at the hospital where she was born. Found out that she actually was reacting that way coz her nose had severe blockage and she was uncomfortable and prolly in pain. She was given nose decongestation drop to help her ease her pain.

While all this is going on, hubby and i also got the flu virus as we both did not get sufficient rest due to work overload and insufficient sleep from the crying angel.

Suddenly. Qistina lost all her appetite for 2 whole days. She wasnt eating and she refused milk. She drank water though. And she vomitted on me 3 times. This was on 31 oct. We had plans to bring her to the paed again to chk if her throat hurts etc..

The twist came. At around 8pm on 31 oct, my tummy churned. And for the first time ever, i had the worse diarrheao and vomiiting which happened concurrently mind you! I was on the toilet bowl and vomitted. Suffered for 4 hrs before i finally sos hubby to come back from work and bring me to the hospital. I went into the A&E and was put on drip. Given 3 days mc.

The next day when i was discharged, we brought lilangel tothe pAed again and she was prescribed some vitamins. Now, her appetite is coming back, and she's been eating and milking non-stop. She also gained weight, alhamdullilah.

Just when i thought she recovered, we noticed her right ear very watery and theres some discharge coming out. Turned out, she got middle ear infection and is on antibiotics now. Alhamdullilah, she is on the road to recovery.

Btw, hubby also got mthe tummy flu but was not as bad as mine. He recovered.

Just when i thought things are gonna ok, i felt my throat swell. Went tothe doc and doc told me tgere's pus in my throat. I feel sucky now, cant eat, cant talk and cant swallow.

I really pray this will be the last before we leave for our holiday end of this month.
Dear allah, please grant us good health. Let us live our life as per normal and let this be the end to our sickness. Please dont let it spread as we have financially spent about $500 in all. Please forgive our sins ya allah, for you are most merciful. Amin.
