@21 weeks

Hello peeps!

Seems like Im only updating my blog for baby updates... Well, can't really blame me. If you must know, I am leading a rather mundane life now where its usually work as usual from Mon till Friday. By the time I reach home, my left side of my hips will be aching like crazy. I showered, did my prayers, eat, watch a lil tv and then off to bed.

Sat and sundays are spent relaxing at home, watching tv and sleeping. I rarely go out ok! Sometimes I cant go out as hubby will be working (he is on shift work, you see) and even if he's not, we'll (ok not we, I) will be too lazy to go out for whatever reasons.

So there you go.. I seemed to be eating non-stop this fasting month. I will get hungry every 2 hours and need to be fed with something. On normal days, I will eat rice meals for a minimum of 3 times a day (of course I control the portion) while those other times that Im hungry, then I'll feed myself with chocolates or nestum or milk or some kinda bread.

Hungry yes, but I still feel that I shouldnt gag myself with too much food in case I accumulate fats and then have trouble removing them after childbirth.

Anyways, after my previous check-up in which I did a $373 blood test, I went for my recent check-up last Tuesday, 7th Sept.

By then I am already 21 weeks pregnant. I dont feel heavy, but I do feel my stomach stretched. Yes, if you must know, my bump have shown. Im really proud to show it off to people. This time round, I am pregnant, and I dont have to pretend to hide my stomach fats that accumulates before I got pregnant.. whahahaa

Even my bowel waste "process" have improved. I still need to urinate frequently, especially at night. I'll be waking up 2-3 times every night for the toilet. But it terms of "poo-ing", from once a week during my first trimester, to every morning now..

Thank God (Alhamdullilah) everything went well. The test results are all good, including the test that I took to see if there is any infections from cats. I think it was called toxoplasma. Alhamdullilah, the test was negative.

We did a scan, baby's heart is pumping normally, already stretching and kicking hard, bones have developed more and of course its longer than the previous month. Unlike last month where baby showed its bum to us, this time, it had its legs wide open for us to see the sex.

Drum rolls please!

It is my pleasure to inform that I am expecting a baby GIRL. wahahah.. Hubby was glad that everything went on well but he was quite surprised the baby is a girl. He had expected it to be a boy because during our 3rd month scan, there was something sticking out from in between the legs. Well, we'll try again for a boy next season, ok hubby? :)

Our baby girl is now weighing close to half a kilo now, and I gained 2 kilo from last month. No more morning sickness now, just that I can't really walk a lot these days without feeling mengah. Cant imagine how it will be if im 8 months pregnant.

Anyways, I am feeling the kicks from baby now. Not strong yet, but stronger than last week. And this morning during the final sahur, it kicked quite hard when hubby put his hand on my tummy. Hubby was of course ecstatic. More to come darling, insyallah.

Do include us in your prayers, peeps...

I think that's all for now. Tomorrow is hari raya, and both hubby and I will be having a long weekend that starts from today all the way till monday...

To all those celebrating, Selamat Hari Raya from me and hubby. Maaf zahir dan batin. Tomorrow will be the first time we'll celebrate it as husband and wife, and my first time also to give out green packets... whahaaha
