Cooking

This weekend, my parents went to KL to attend a wedding ceremony of my 2 aunts (they are siblings and almost the same age as me, but their ranked as aunts in the family) who got married this weekend at Kuang.

My parents and brother left on Friday night, right after I got back from my tuition. Hubby was kind enough to send me that day, since we both were not working.. And we decided to board the bus though we could have used the car before my parents left. Anyways, having these rare bus rides are quite fun sometimes.... Been a long time since we last did that.

Anyway, my plan with hubby to attend the wedding by flight today was destroyed after hubby couldnt get his leave approved. BORING... And to make it worse, he was on nite shift this weekend...

So we stayed at home to look after the cats while my mum was gone... My plan to have my friends over this weekend also could not happen as they brought my wedding album along to show the other malaysian relatives. So girls, sorry had to postpone our meeting to next week..

So while my parents were gone, I diligently did the entire cleaning of the house, my cats and the laundry. And my beloved hubby actually did the cooking. On saturday, we went to rent several dvds, had lunch together and watched it. While watching, hubby whipped up garlic breads (which we board the paste from Sheng Shiong) and we both enjoyed the rest of the afternoon in each other's company...

Anyways, as per my FB comments, I guess I am fortunate who have a husband that can cook decent meals for me, and the other sisters who are left here at home..

Yesterday's menu was Seafood Tom Yam, and today was udang&daging sambal tumis and sup sayur kailan... It was spicy but yummy! So tomorrow, he still have a day left to do the cooking before my parents get home...

And tomorrow, I am feeling sooo lazy to go to work,,, It is hubby's off day tomorrow :(
