Recollect what moments, you ask?
My wedding day, the biggest day of my life, so far...
When I received my degree, yes, it was a proud moment.
Proud because I managed to successfully complete my years of studying.
Proud to show the world that though I came from not-so-well-to-do family, I still managed to complete my studies.
And proud because of every 100 university students, only 3 are malays. And I am one of them...
And about 1 year after I received my degree, I got married.
Biggest day of my life, and my proudest moment. Reason being:
I managed to marry the guy that I have known for 9 years, the only guy (out of all others whom I had met and in r'ship) that compliments my character and emotional needs, the only guy that understands my compassion for cats and so forth...
As I mentioned before, I graduated in dec 2008, and only found a job on Feb 2009.
That 9 months of working saw our perseverance to plan for a beautiful dream wedding for both of us (without any help in terms of planning or financially, ok I calculated there's about 17% of help from near relatives), leaving me fulfilling the remaining 83% of the entire wedding in 9 months of pay. Honestly till now, I still cannot believe how I did it.
And as all brides, I still managed to do facial consistently for 3 months before my wedding, go on an overseas photoshoot and finally a honeymoon to wrap up the atmosphere... Totally unbelievable, but yes, I did it.
Last month, Feb 2010 marks the end of my wedding "environment". We collected all outstanding photos, dvds and what not... That finally wraps it all.
And tomorrow, 7th March 2010, the visits to close and elder relatives start (in malay its called sembah menyembah), where we bring our photos and visit the relatives who had helped out in the wedding and personally thank them...
And just before typing this blog entry, I had just watched my wedding dvd. I really enjoyed it, i was sent back to the feelings I had from the 18 till 20 dec 2009 and I was all smiles.
May this marriage be everlasting and may Allah grant us beautiful, healthy and soleh/solehah generations in time to come, insyallah....

Till then, Love!
