Midnight Movie Date

Last 29th of January, my hubby and I decided to go for our first midnight movie date together... Just the 2 of us...

That night we headed back to our crib in the west side of Singapore, before leaving for JB the next day to visit his parents.

So the movie we watched was "The Spy Next Door".. I think the storyline is quite lame and expected. The only humor from the movie is seeing how Jacky Chan speak English in his Chinese accent and some of his antics movements. Other than that, it really is a plain movie...

But no matter how horrible the movie was, we still walked away satisfied as we had enjoyed each other company very much that night. Also, it was a night worth remembering as it was our very first midnight movie date together...

Another thing to remember was that, It was my very first time appearing in VivoCity without make-up and in spectacles. Geeshhh...

Note to self: Never appear in such way ever again.

We eventually reached home at around 2am, prepared everything to bring to JB and finally slept at 2.30am... 3 hours later, I heard the alarm rang and it was time for us to wake up again...

You see, my car is an off-peak car that only allows travel from 3pm onwards on Saturday, hence the need to leave early before 7am to avoid paying the e-day license that is worth $20.

Anyways, another JB outing will be this 27 Feb and this time, I had asked my girls along. We'll see how it goes...

But seriously, I cant wait for this month to be over. Can't wait to collect my wedding DVD, and the remaining 4 of my wedding albums. After this month, then hubby and I can have a breather and then start our regular savings again...

Earlier this morning, I had actually enquired about a holiday package for us to go this May. If all goes as planned, then we'll be going to Harris Batam Resort sometime in the mid-may... Anyone wanna join????
