Hijab Styling Class

Last Saturday, I decided to sign up for a hijab styling class.

I really dont know whats the reason, but I just felt a strong urge to attend it since last friday.

If you guys hadnt known, I had another of my childhood friend (nope, she's not in the usual group with the other babes I usually hang out with) working in my team as our telemarketer. Hence, I had roped her along to attend the class with me. It was very far in Sembawang, but we perservered on a Saturday afternoon.

The class had about 15 students, including us. All ladies, it was nice to get to know some of them. The "teacher" was incredibly friendly and creative. She interacts well with us and even able to answer our questions with a pinch of humor. The theme was about shawl tudungs, hence I really find it useful for my own knowledge. (as i've been wearing the same old style since Im 17!)

Light refreshments were provided, and there was some sale of her home-made drangling or head brooches for sale.

My husband fetched us back (thank god for that) especially since I wore a free henna that was provided there as well.

At the end of the session, I bought myself some stuffs to try.

Back home, I tried on the style that was my favourite in the class.

Of course the colors didnt match, and the end result should be better with more pins and a proper outfit. The above was just a demo and my first attempt..

So when should I try this style on? I wanted to wear this style tomorrow for my Lo Hei Lunch at a country club, but I realised that I dont have a very "loose" blouse to wear. If you notice, shawl tudungs tend to not really cover the chest area, hence you need to wear something loose in order for it to fit well :)

I think I can wait....

Till then, have a lovely week ahead peeps!

Love!
