The last day of 2008 did not go smoothly for me. Due to some internal conflicts with the loved ones and my uprising stress due to the fact that I’m still jobless, I spent the last moments of 2008 drowned in tears. Which I shall not elaborate here…. Not to mention I have had trouble sleeping since earlier this week. Could someone recommend me any sleeping pills that do not have adverse side effects please?
Nevertheless, 2008 had been a very great year for me since the beginning. Let me share again the major milestones that had happened in my life.
February 08: I helped to deliver three triplets (for the first time) during Suzie’s birth. Suzie is my cat though, and she gave birth to 3 beautiful daughters – Dino, Dini & Dani ..hehehe…
March-April 08: The trip to Middle East – Bahrain, Abu Dhabi & Dubai. Who would have thought that I had the chance to visit one of the upcoming places of the world, and managed to eat dinner with the king, and even managed to spend $210 on a 50 min lunch at the world’s 7-star hotel called Burj Al-Arab?
July 08: Mr. HHH & I first trip to Batam
August 08: This month is a bit on roller-coaster.
1) I went to visit my aunt and then went to Genting Highlands with my sis and niece alone for the first time.
2) My first ever most beloved three-legged cat, Hitam passed away on 23rd August
3) I rode on the Singapore Flyer for FREE
4) I celebrated teacher’s day with the class for the first time after being a relief teacher since 2002
September 08: Mr. HHH & I first official visit to JB, and since then we had made it a point to go there once a month. Oh, and Mr. HHH started his very own catering business.
December 08: The end journey of my official education – I completed my degree program alhamdullilah…
Coming to the end of the year was also a challenge. Things happened between someone I loved dearly and myself and I felt that it has somewhat changed my attitude a lot. I am no longer the same person, I would say. Already more reserved and introverted whenever I’m with her.
Today is the beginning of year 2009. Of course like all others, I hope that this year will be better than the previous years. And kalau ada jodoh, the end of 2009 will be another turning point in my life insyallah.
So, my new year wishes:
1) To get a full-time job a.s.a.p.
2) To be a better person holistically, a better caretaker of my cats, a better daughter, a better sister, a better fiancée
3) To be familiar with Singapore roads so I won’t get lost again whenever I’m driving with my babes.
May it all come true, insyallah.

On another note, one of my babe celebrated her 23rd Birthday today. Yup, she's one of the new year babies.
