First Outing

My year started off with our first outing with Mr. HHH last Sunday, 4th January.

Our destination?
JB Sutera Mall & the new Danga City Mall.

We were lost the other time we went a few days before New Year because of the new immigration checkpoint in JB that made our usual detoured road closed permanently. So I was a bit unhappy that we may have “lost touch” on how to go to our favorite place, hence I pestered Mr. HHH to enter JB again and try a different route this time.

Alhamdullilah, sampai pun. Spent a bit more time at the Sutera Mall. We had lunch at the Laksa Shack, and bought some stuffs.

Laksa Shack - they provide different varieties of menu like nasi briyani etc but i guess their laksa is still the best.



And since we were seated beside the mirror, all photos taken were via mirror images.

We also spent almost all our RM money there, but decided not to change first. The plan was to change more currencies at Danga City Mall.

But I was so surprised when I went to the info counter, and the receptionist said that there is no money changer at the moment since it’s a newly open mall after we find it ourselves after walking around the ground floor several times.
Since there’s no money changer, I thought it would be useless to walk around the entire mall. So after a while, we went back to Singapore. I couldn’t even pump petrol in JB la, tak cukup duit punyer pasal…

Entered Singapore at about 8+pm, went to pump petrol and then had dinner….

Both of us decided to end the day early especially since I have an interview the following day, which I regret to announce that I failed to get the second interview… Fortunately, the job wasn’t really to my liking so I'm not very affected by the rejection… hehe :)

Reality check: I’m still jobless, and have been crowned the official maid of the house. Sometimes I thought I would be better off being a real maid at other people’s houses so I could get paid. Argghh…

So if anyone free for coffee/lunch/dinner, do ask me out! I'm very free at the moment :)
