The day I turned 23

Happy Birthday to Me!

First of all, thanks to all those who remembered and your well-wishes. I really appreciate the thoughts and wishes.

The day started not-so-perfect due to some outstanding issues but to my surprise, the day ended very well.

Taught tuition in the morning, and met Mr. HHH after that to accompany him get new clothes for a friend's wedding tomorrow held in a hotel in town.

We walked around and eventually ended up having lunch in Swensens.
The food was great, but I wasn't really able to enjoy it very well due to the sorethroat and the nerve-wrecking wait for a phone interview around that time. Geez...

Then, we headed to Tampines Mall to buy my birthday cake.

I was torn between the cake at Swensens and Royals. But in the end, I chose Fruit Gateau from Bengawan Solo.

I had been eying on a new collection of Bonia handbag that I saw back in November that costs $250. I told Mr. HHH that I will buy the bag myself once I started working. So while walking, we saw the same bag with a 20% discount. On top of that, the sales girl gave me another coupon that gives a further 5% discount to the bag - making it costs only $190. (Well, at least it's better than paying $250 for a bag) hehehe

And so, I got that bag as a birthday present!

We headed home after that where my entire family was waiting for us to celebrate our birthdays as well.. (Mr.HHH bdae falls the next day)

The smiles & company was really priceless...
