Dinner

Dinner #1:

Last thursday, Mr. HHH & I met to send his cat to sterilisation. It was his day off. So I cancelled my morning relief, and followed him to the vet. Unfortunately, when we reached, the vet said that his cat is still too small to be sterilised as she is only about 2 month old?

I shared the same sentiments with the doctor, that was why I was quite puzzled when the cat, Yuyun, started making all those "noise". In the end, the doctor gave her a hormone pill and some vitamin supplements to make her grow bigger. Which I have yet to feed it. Why me you ask?

Remember in August I mentioned that Mr. HHH went for a month long reservice? He had asked me to take care of his cat. When Yuyun first entered our house, she was very reserved and fierce. But now, she can get along with my other cats very well, and even refused to go back home to Mr. HHH. Not only she dont want to go home, my mum and sisters also refused to let her go back to Mr. HHH as they had grown attached to having her around in the house.

So in the end, we made a pact. Yuyun will stay with us, but Mr. HHH will still take care of her expenditure - including any medical fees/food.

So, after sending Yuyun back to my place, we decided to go the Geylang Bazaar. We reached at about 1230pm. That was the first time I went to the bazaar this year. School work had been really crazy that I dont have the time to do so. We walked around the market area. The weather was so hot that we were perspiring non-stop and got very2 thirsty. Luckily it was the weekday so the bazaar was not crowded.

Since Mr. HHH offered to sponsor my shopping, I bought a new blouse -Indonesian style, a new skirt and 3 new tudungs. He bought himself a new shirt as well.

We decided not to buy the couple suit for this year Hari Raya since it will be soon that we'll be doing that for the rest of our lives. So before that happen, we are enjoying our "single-hood" in wearing different costumes for the festival.

Earlier, he bought himself a Kurta suit (the indian style) while my sister had bought for me songket-style baju kurung. I still have my engagement costume to wear and a few new ones in my cupboard from previous years purchase. That should be enough for this year...

We finished shopping at about 1.45pm. I have a 3.30pm class that day, and it was compulsory to go since i have an assignment due that day. So while waiting to kill time, I was so tired from the heat and walking that I slept for a good half-hour in the car while waiting to kill time before going to school.

He fetched me after my class to have dinner at LJS. Somehow he was craving for it...





Dinner #2:

Last Friday, my class that went for the BSM Dubai trip decided to hold a gathering at the Sakura International Buffet in Orchard Shopping Centre. About 20 people turned up. There were a long of catch-up sessions with different people.

As usual, the food and company was great.

Since the buffet costs me $30, I ate:

1) Fried Rice
2) Sliced lamb
3) Chinese-styled chicken
4) Prawns
5) Beancurds
6) Sweet & sour fish slice
7) Laksa
8) Prawn fritters
9) a slice of pizza
10) Orange Pudding
11) 4 different cakes - bite sized
12) a mixture of 3 flavoured-ice cream
13) 3 glasses of drinks - ribena, green tea, lemonade
14) durian puffs

Yup, I had all those down my stomach. By the time I finished, I was so full. I got so sleepy but I didnt have the chance to doze off as I was busy updating friends with my life.. hahaa

Luckily, a friend of mine is also staying in the east and he gave me a ride home in his new Honda Accord 2.9. Which I very much appreciate, of course!
