"Update" session with the Girls

In view that last week was the start of a new semester, and that some of my friends went for exchange since last semester & during the summer, we had been missing out on each other's lives... That said, the 3 of us met up after class last wednesday to just hang out & chill....

Attendees: Angel, Cheryl, Nicole

We met up in school, went to the newly-opened store called Waffle Cottage and shared a choco hazelnut waffle, which tasted like nutella in a waffle. If you don't really like nutella, you would have thought that they cheated on you. But since I LOVE nutella, I didn't complain :)

Since there wasn't anything much to do in school, we decided to head to Orchard Road. More specifically to Ayam Penyet Ria in Lucky Plaza... It was already 4pm when we reached there, and because I had another dinner appointment later that same evening, I thought of skipping lunch. Upon reaching the restaurant, the Nasi Udang Penyet caught my attention! And I couldn't resist it... The Udang Penyet was simply superb... 3 fresh prawns with the ever delicious yet spicy sauce really made my day!

The 3 of us kept talking, and sharing and walking aimlessly around Orchard Road till we reached Cathay Cineleisure in Somerset. We chilled in Burger King, further chatting and cam-whoring till about 5.45pm where it is time for me to leave....

It was really a "worth-while" session. Being friends, we felt that we need to be aware of what's going on in each other's lives. *winks*

After the meet-up, I went to Novena MRT to meet up with my primary school babes - Ani & Fariza... Reason?

Dee had been admitted to the hospital for lymphititis (think that's how it's spelt).. Basically there is a swell around her neck, which doctor said resulted from some kind of bacteria and infection. On the day that we visited her, she had just underwent an operation to remove the swell. And she is still admitted till today.

Ain joined us later in the night after her work. In the hospital, after we fed Dee with a Chocolate cheesecake that we brought from Han's, we ate our own slices as well. I bought the Chocolate Banana cake, which I really felt quite cheated becuase it was literally the usual banana cake, topped up with chocolate. What a classic!

For some nice choco-banana cake, I recommend Secret Recipe. I promise you won't regret it! Ok, I'm digressing....

We laughed a lot, shared stories and jokes. And we reminisced the past, of the happenings during primary school... Very funny I tell you.. Being nerdish and all... It was really a night, till we were chased out by the nurse... hahah...

Anyways, our Saturday plan went a bit hay-wired. Since the other babes had cancelled their other appointments, we decided to proceed with the Saturday meet-up. Will blog about it during my free period tomorrow...

Hope you get well soon babe! My prayers be with you!

Till then, Love!
