Remember once I wrote about the cock-up in my degree progress report, and that I cannot graduate because they offered insufficient new courses for me to fulfill my FINAL degree requirement? And that they said the only way I can graduate by end of this year is to embark on an independent study course that will require me to complete a whole term project by myself?
If you still have no idea what I have been trying to say, in summary: I have 5 more outstanding courses to complete in order to graduate. At that moment, I have secured only 4. The final one could not be secured as there are no new course for that major. Thus the school offers me 2 options:
1) Come back next year just to finish 1 course
2) Do an independent study
Get it?
So the story goes...
I had emailed all available profs but was turned down due to their different levels of commitment. Apparently my email got the attention of the Head of the Operations Department. For 2 weeks I waited in avail, only to learn that I have also taken the new course that they will offer.
Just the day before I left for KL/Genting, I received an email from him stating that they had offered a new course (I don't know whether the course is offered due to demand or due to the fact that I was literally disturbing all the heads telling them that I cant grad and it's not my fault), and that I have not taken that course at all...
So the good news: The school has granted me an exception to be enrolled in the course and I do not even have to bid for it. But they will still deduct my e-dollars according to the highest successful bidder. I will get it no matter what...
Thank God for that! Alhamdullilah, things are really moving as planned....
I loike!!!
On the side note, I really am not looking forward to the working life. But I know that I am left with no choice unless my future husband is a multi-millionaire and I can be a tai-tai, but unfortunately not.
Come to think of it, it's really stupid to come back school just for 1 course. I might as well find myself a full-time job.
We'll see how la... The good thing about my school is that the career department are really doing work in trying to bring on-campus recruitments and career talks from reputable companies. So as students, we just have to sit in and listen (of course to network) with them and see if their positions suit us well....
So being in the final sem is not as easy as I thought it would be. I have to juggle between school work, giving tuition, relief teaching, being the house maid and at the same time look out for job opportunities; hoping that I can secure a full time job before January 2009 starts...
I guess we'll just have to see how things go...
Ya Allah, murahkanlah rezekiku & permudahkanlah segala urusanku....

Till then, Love!
