I can really feel the rising inflation here in Singapore. The fact that it is the Great Singapore Sale, or GSS period, really does not help on anything.
I see people around me working so hard for their wages until the end of the month. Once that day come, almost half or three quarters of their wages gone to paying bills, doing grocery shopping and other miscelleneous expenditures.
Though Singaporeans (including myself) will get the GST rebate 2 days from now, I really don't see how I can save it since there are already a long list of "to-do's" for that money...
With this situation, it seems apparent on the disparity of social hierachy. Though not as worse as countries like India, rich Singaporeans will get richer, and those at the bottom level will just continue to suffer....
"... Aper nak jadi dengan dunia???"
Sometimes I just wonder, whether I could save up in time before the big day...
Only time will tell....
