CNY Holidays

ALERT: LONG ENTRY!

I'm rubbing it in, but did I mention that I had my holidays since Wednesday? Yoohooo!!! Very2 long weekend indeed.

Before the holidays, I had planned a whole list of assignments that I wish, or rather have to complete by Sunday. UNFORTUNATELY, I just realised that I haven't started on any of them & today is SATURDAY!!! not goood at all.... *tsk tsk*

What have I been doing for the past 3 days, you ask?

On Wednesday, I slept through morning & only woke up in the afternoon... Yup, partly due to the late class I had on Tuesday. And I was transformed from a SLEEPING BEAUTY to CINDERELLA. (if u had missed it, refer to "Siblings Issue" posted in Jan). By the time I'm done with all the chores, it was late evening. I watched some TV, surfed the net and there goes my Wednesday.

Come Thursday, since it was CNY, there were a lot of good shows in all channels. I watched TV in the morning, watched some more TV in the afternoon till late night.

Next on the list is Friday. Started off with cleaning the house again (yup, i did the chores once every 2 days). Then surfed the net & went for a little driving to no-where. It has been months since I last drove, so I just sat behind the wheels for a while before meeting Mr. HHH. We kinda made last minute plans to meet for dinner. Paranoid that the restaurant maybe closed, I called to enquire. It was only then that I was told there will be fireworks at the Esplanade.

For the record, the cafe that we were planning to try is SourPuss Cafe at the Esplanade Mall.

We reached at around 8.30pm (reservation at 9pm; fireworks at 9.30pm). To our horror, every building parking including the mall was full such that there were barriers of entry everywhere. There were traffic police & road closure as well. I had to cancel the reservation since there was no way to park the car.

So in the end, we kinda parked across Esplanade at the other side of the sea just for the fireworks. For dinner, we detoured to East Coast Park for McDonalds.

Very contented, indeed

This morning, I decided to pamper my cats. I gave each one of them personal grooming. Chipped their nails, shampoo their coats, comb their fur & finally delicious lunch for them to enjoy. *lucky them*

I guess this will be my last post for this weekend. Unless if there's anything really interesting that I wish to share.

After this, I'll have a little nap before rushing to complete all my assignments. This is what happens when you procrastinate. Very bad, people!
