Pulai Springs Resort

So last weekend, husband and I decided to bring the kids out somewhere nearby.
The initial intention was to have a short stay at a hotel and shop for stuffs.

Due to budgetary constraints, we settled on 2D1N stay with breakfast at Pulai Springs Resort.
Upon reaching the hotel, we went for a swim first as our room was facing the pool. Kids were ecstatic when they saw the pool at the balcony.

Then at about 6pm, we get ready to go to Angsana Plaza to change my swimsuit. (Yes, I bought one with cutting, but ended up looking weird and very tight fitting - so decided to change to one with no cutting). And behold, lots of promotions at the kids section.

Shopped quite a lot of their clothes as they had outgrown theirs. Bought both for use at home and to wear outside. Bought their school shoes (2 pairs each), school socks, waterbottles, daughter's sandals, husband's sandals and my office wear clothes. Bought a couple of tudungs as well. All things are on sale. In total, we spent close to about $500. Total of about 40 clothes bought in all. Great deal I think. I even bought a SWISS POLO office bag for RM80 - 70% OFF!

So if you are thinking of topping up your supplies, now is a good time to go. Everything is on sale. And with the RM exchange rate SGD1 to RM3, we literally shopped till we almost drop. Didn't bring stroller and kids almost dropped to the floor. They were sitting on the floors while waiting for me to choose their items.

Oh well kids, its a once-a-year kinda thing. Hopefully the items will last you the entire year, if not more!
