Happy Birthday to ME!

Alhamdulillah, I turned 30 today.

No celebration, just simple wishes with lots of hugs and kisses from my kids.

Husband is working AM shift today, and will only be back later by 9pm.

So what did I do today?

After sending the husband off to work this morning, I went back to bed and woke up at 9.30am.
(hmmm... isn't it good to wake up when everybody else is in the office?... lol)
Did a simple breakfast before bringing the kids down to the playground.

When we got back, I put the kids to play in their portable swimming pool while I cooked.
My daughter wanted Fried Rice today. So menu is relatively easy and simple.

Once I got them out from the bathroom, fed them breakfast cum lunch while we watched Hotel Transylvania II.
I ate a quickie lunch before proceeding to clean the fridge, and some parts of the kitchen.
Now that the fridge is cleaned, it kinda looked quite empty though. Hahaha

Did the laundry, vacuum & mop the entire house.

Once that is done, I lay down beside my son for his afternoon nap.

Blissful and serene way to celebrate my birthday.
There is nothing more that I need to ask for but all the happiness and wealth and success from the world.

Thank you for all your birthday wishes, I truly appreciate them.

30 years of life, ups and downs, made new friends, left "old" friends, got married to a wonderful life partner, have 2 beautiful kids, worked 2 jobs of different varsity so far, and still counting. May Allah bless us with a better life moving forward, insya allah... Amiin...
