Kids

Yesterday I had a tuition session with a Primary 4 and 2 kids. (They are siblings btw)..

Since their last paper for today is Malay, and malay is a language subject that you will never know what's coming except for the peribahasa, it was quite a relaxing session yesterday...

So we spent a while chatting on other things under the sky - the fish, science, telephones and finally about work. Then there was this conversation:

Kid: Kak, once u became an adult what do you want to work as?

Me: I am an adult already.

Kid: No lar, I mean when you get older.

Me: *all smiles*

Aku dah nak kawin dia boleh tanya dah besar nak kerja aper eh!

Either they are just very naive or I look very young.
And I prefer the latter :)

Anyway just to share: whichever clients I got from tuition agencies, I usually dont reveal a lot about myself, esp to the kids. To the parents, if they dont ask me whats my age then I wont tell. At most I'll just inform them that I am already working full time and that tuition acts as my side income. This is an important fact so that in the event I need to change tuition time due to work purposes, it will be much easier ;)
