Officially from today, it is left 6 more days before all Muslims from all over the world will be celebrating Hari Raya.
*I am on MC today due to my injury, hence the time to type out this entry*
One thing that I usually like about the fasting month is the fact that it is being celebrated worldwide. Occassionally there'll be news and pictures about how others celebrate the fasting month in different countries. And it is always filled with colors, which to me signifies happiness and pure bliss. You can really feel the "heat" especially when Hari Raya is coming.
As I mentioned in my previous post before, this Ramadhan and Hari Raya is and will be quite significant for me, and probably for some other friends like Dida and Marhaini as this will be our last year celebrating as "singles" purely with our own family. Dont know about them, but it is definitely for me. Coz from next year onwards, I will be celebrating Ramadan with my husband, insyallah. And I believe that will be definitely a new experience especially since I wont be staying here anymore.
I am now beginning to feel the spirit of Hari Raya coming, especially with the existence of the following new things:
1) New curtains for the sliding door
2) New cushion seats and covers
3) New tissue and table covers
4) New clothes!
5) Cookies and kerepeks have been bought
6) New bedsheets & blankets
7) Bedroom curtains have been changed
8) Spring cleaning done
All that is left to do is to collect some more orders we made on the cookies and rempeyeks this wednesday, and hopefully my family potrait can collect this coming Saturday.
And, my aunt and family from KL will be coming over to celebrate Hari Raya with us this yeaR! There'll be more people and more cooking! Yay!
Truth be told, I am not in the working mood this week, hence I guess I'll just take it easy and enjoy the remaining days before Raya comes! All the stress at work and wedding matters will be put on hold for a while :)
The only difference is that maybe I wont be receiving the duit collections anymore since I already start working. And due to budget constraints to the wedding, I am not planning to give any to the children as yet. Probably will do so next year...
Till then peeps, have a best week ahead. I know I sure will....
