Latest of the week:
1) Mr. HHH & I had registered our marriage at ROMM last thursday. Everything went well alhamdullilah. After that, I had also successfully booked my wedding venue. Which means I can proceed with printing the cards.
2) My dad underwent a day surgery last Friday to remove his kidney stone that came back after he recovered last year. Thank god everything went well, and he had started working again.
3) My family and I, Mr. HHH included just went for our family studio shoot today evening. It was all well except for the first part.
You see, in April when Mr. HHH & I went for the complimentary photo shoot, the make-up artist who did my make-up is a Malay lady. And as we all know, Malay make-up style and Chinese varies quite greatly I presume. We malays prefer more "dramatic" look while the chinese usually does it natural.
So when we all went to the studio earlier on, there was only 1 make-up artist (to do 8 of our make-ups) and it was a chinese lady.
My 3rd sister went first, and she was so unhappy with the make-up. Her face was black with anger. She complained a lot and started doing her own touch-up. Her reaction really made me felt unappreciated. It's like paying so much and no one appreciates it.
Actually its not that the make-up artist sucks or something, it's just the different style. My 3rd sister had been so used to putting on thick make-ups everyday such that when the person gave her a "natural" look, she just thought she looked "uglier". You get what I mean?
But I guess after the second one go and she saw them touching up their own make-up, the make-up artist got the hint that we want her to use more make-up on us, and I guess she did. So after that "drama", all went well. Including the shoots.
Thank god for that. And till I finalize all the shots, no photos will be uploaded at this point of time :)
4) My neighbour complained again for the 3rd time, and its really pissing me off. I cant wait to meet them and tell them off. The only problem is whenever they see me, they never talked to me about it. It's just when they saw my mum or my brother. damn.
Latest of this upcoming week, I got invited as one of the speaker for AIA's recruitment session. A bit nervous, but I guess it will definitely be an unforgettable experience insyallah.
Till then, Love!
