Last weekend was really crazy.

I recovered from my friday experience-craze, and decided to move on.

Saturday was the renovation day. The contractor was supposed to come at 10am, but I woke up at 9.10am! Gosh, it was madness. I woke my sister up to help me keep the cats and at least keep the house clean to the barest minimum. Thankfully, by the time we finished, the contractor came knocking on the door. When I looked at the clock, it was only 9.30am!

Tak sempat mandi pun ok!

Mr. HHH came at around 11am and took over the role of watching the contractors. To kill time, we were deciding on the different tours that our tour agency recommended to us. Yup, we are in the midst of deciding on our honeymoon as well.. heh

Which brings me to my point. Few months back when we went for the Wedding Expo & Travel, we spoke to 2 different travel agencies. We are thinking of going Bali and to stay at this 5-star property that I had always wanted to go. Our tentative trip date falls on 25th Dec and all their promotions during the exhibition ended on the 24th dec. So both took down my details and promised to work on my trip itinerary.

Until now, I still have yet to hear from them.

Then last 2 weeks, we were checking out something around Bugis area when we stopped at Chinatown Point and coincidentally decided to walk in Asia-Euro Holidays travel agency to enquire. After discussion, we realised 1 thing - the flights are fully booked on the 25th onwards. From all the different airlines.

Then it got us thinking, what is the point of the earlier 2 travel agents planning for our trip if they didnt even check whether there's any flights available?

The travel agent who spoke to us is a Malay lady and she gave us lots of recommendations which we felt was useful for us to decide on our honeymoon. Some were near sea activities but bearing in mind the monsoon period during that time, we decided not to include sea activities in our itinerary.

So as of now, we have brought forward our trip to the 24th dec, itupun kena transit coz of direct flights being fully booked. We took a F&E package with some tours in it for us to know the place better. The items are roughly there, only left to start paying for it. Hopefully all will go well insyallah....

Anyway, digressing.

As I was saying, the renovation ended at around 2pm that Saturday. Once that was done, we were to buy the paints and wire mesh and began washing the entire house. Yup, washing. After wash & dry, we started painting the walls. Then, construct the cats house with the stuffs we bought from IKEA.

We even varnished our entire wooden furniture to give it a brand new kilat!

All that until 4.30am. And till now, Mr. HHH & I are still having the sores. Geessh..

And for the cats, they are still taking time to get used to their new home. Give it some time, and Im sure they'll be ok.

So yesterday my parents finally threw away all unused/spoilt items and that made my house more spacious. I even fixed our new air freshener for the home.

But hold your horses, no pictures till the family potrait comes. hehe
