Sentosa Trip

Well, this entry is a bit back dated. But I will still write about it :)

Last two Saturdays, my cousin, Haziq came to Singapore from K.L. for a short weekend visit before he enters university. You see, he got accepted to Universiti Malaya and will be starting school on 25th May, which is today!

He arrived at 1230am on Saturday, 16th May and slept over at my place. Actually I was a bit worried if I couldn’t be a good host because everytime if we come over to K.L. (his parents place), they will bring us everywhere and shopping is definitely is a must! Furthermore, I got my pay a week later due to some system error. So when he came over, I was almost broke.

In the end on the Saturday, my uncle and family brought him to chill at the Wild Wild Wet. I know they had fun swimming because that night, he slept like a log. Luckily my 2 sisters Amy & Nina had extra cash to spare, so that Sunday, we brought him to Sentosa.

Nina is currently interning at Sentosa and we got most of the things discounted, if not free. Before we went Sentosa, we brought Haziq to one of my uncle’s house for lunch, then off we go to Sentosa.

The attractions we went to:

1) Underwater world where I touched the stingrays (very soft skin), starfish, a fish that they called shark and a puffer fish, I think
2) Dolphin Lagoon where they showed those clever dolphins antics
3) Luge and Skyride
4) Tiger Sky Tower
5) Songs of the Sea

A very well-spent day indeed.

Then Monday come, the same uncle that brought him to Wild Wild Wet brought him to shopping at Peninsula Plaza. Spent the whole day shopping, eating and relaxing.
The next day, I sent him to Novena Square to take his bus back to K,L. at 11am. This is where I love my job of much flexibility :)
