Emotions running wild

Till now, I am still coping with my new beginning -- my work life.

For those who don't really know me, this is the first real job that I had embark on. Since I had just joined officially (I started unofficially since Jan) in February, I am still adapting and adjusting to changes in my daily life.

Basically, I still need adjusting:

1) in waking up early in the morning (but cannot continue sleeping after doing the Subuh)
2) to the morning rush in doing the house chores including the cats iteniaries every morning
3) rummaging into my closet to see what "business" clothes I have and deciding what to wear that day
4) to the fact that I dont have a specific ending work hours - I can still be working on Sat & Sun if the clients wish to see me during the weekends

My job nature by right should have a lot of flexibility. But because I am in the executive development program (something like management trainee), they are instilling some form of discipline in me. So unfortunately for the time being, I dont really have that much of a flexibility.

Here's how my typical Mon-Fri would start

6.30am: Wake-up, do chores & feed cats, shower, eat breakfast get ready for work
9.30am: Be in the office
Lunch is anytime I want
Afternoon till night: meet clients whichever time they requested

For Sat & Sun:
Meet clients wherever & whichever time/place agreed

This precisely, is the reason for the lack of blogging updates. Some days I may reach home as early as 6pm, while other days will only see me home by 11pm. But one thing for sure, with all the travelling required in the afternoon-evenings, that made me quite tired by the time I reached home.

Anyway as applied to all jobs, it is a struggle to cope when you are new. I know that I will make it one day, and I shall patiently wait for the day to come while constantly improving myself as each day pass... Insyallah...

On a more brighter note, I am going to Austin Hills Golf Resort this coming Fri-Sat for a department retreat. Good thing I joined at the right time :)

Oh, did I mention I was at home the whole day while V-Day was happening? Not becuase something happened etc, just that Mr. HHH had to work and is on the afternoon shift. Actually, I am quite glad that I got the chance to stay home and recuperate. Today is the only day actually that I could slack and play with my cats. I'm off for 2 more appointments tomorrow!

Till then, have a lovely Sunday and a great upcoming week ahead!
I know I will, insyallah!
Love!

p/s: On a totally different note, I think this article has a fabulous explanation on why Muslims need to pray. Reasons are clear and precise. Check this out: http://www.happeepill.com/blog/2009/4steps/4steps1.htm
