We planned to go karaoke-ing. The venue & meet-up place was changed not once, not twice, not thrice, but four times!
How fickle-minded we were, but who can blame us? We are girls afterall!!! Geezzz…
Initial Plan: Meet at Orchard MRT and karaoke at Orchard Tower Cash Studio
Then changed to: Meet at Bedok I/C to go Simpang Bedok Cash Studio
Then changed to: Dida picking us up to go Loyang Point Karaoke Box
Guess what we ended up doing?
Ani & Fareez came to my place since they are all ready & I’m not. Then I drove them, or rather us to E-Hub at Pasir Ris. That’s the meet-up point for us 5 girls. Ain will only join us for dinner as she was working at that time.
After all the changes in plan, the girls really had no idea what to do. So I decided to go bowling. Upon reaching the Orchid Bowl place, we are put to number 52 on the waiting list!
So I took this chance to convince the girls that we SHOULD go to ESCAPE THEME PARK & we did!
The entrance fee was on promo so it costs half the initial price! Since I’m a NEBO cardholder, it cost a lot lesser for me!

Our first ride - Viking

Queing for Viking

Queing for GO-kArt
(my first time)
The only new attraction was the Haunted House. It got me real scared because Ani was shouting like crazy that I was so worried she would faint. Not only that, Dee & I felt someone tapping on our shoulders as we walked past the aisle, with our eyes closed!
*Nasib dia tap shoulder, kalau dia stroke dah lain macam pulak kan!... hahaha… DIGRESSING!
To be honest, I do feel a bit disappointed with the theme park because they had cut down on the number of rides such that it doesn’t feel very thrilling anymore. And they priced the entrance fee a lot higher than I used to remember. And since I just came back from Genting Theme Park where the rides are 110% more thrilling that I can really feel my heart & soul & veins throbbed like crazy, Escape seems very “undersized” to me, seriously!
We played till the park closed at 8pm. Then, went on to Downtown East Makan Place to have dinner, where we were joined by Ain.

Fareez, Dee, Angel

Ain, Dida, Ani
I had Nasi Ayam Penyet but I didn’t finish my food since my appetite is still not back after my throat infection. I tried finishing it, but decided to stop when I felt like throwing up. And because of that, I refrained from eating our shared side dishes which the girls ordered – satay & cheese fries. *wasted sey*
By the time we finished dinner, it was already 9.30pm but Ani hasn’t had enough fun. Dia taknak balik ni!
So off we went to the Orchid Bowl place again. Luckily we got a lane & played 2 games of bowling.
Though it has been years since I last bowled, I am proud to announce that I came in second after Dee!! *YOU GO GIRL!* hhehehe
The game ended at around 12am, and we had several parents calling up their girls :)
WAY-HOME DRAMA!
As usual, aku kalau drive mesti sesat!
I recognized a road where I had to turn right to go back to where we came from earlier. But the girls (Ani, Ain & Fareez) were asking me to follow the usual bus direction. Upon reaching a filter lane, they decided to go via PIE. Just as I entered the filter lane, there was another split lane. But the girls were taking such a long time deciding which lane to go. I followed my instincts and kita rounding2 sampai kat marine parade dok!
I told Ani: Tadi kau taknak balik kan, skrang kita rounding2!
Layan! But we finally figured the way back home. I sent the girls back before eventually reaching home myself at around 1am. Geezz…
p/s: nasib the girls tinggal dekat2 dgn aku & that im familiar with their houses. Kalau tak, Nampak gaya korang naik taxi la eh! Hahahah
It was indeed a girls-day-out!
The clan has spoken: the next outing next year will be to WILD WILD WET! Yooohooo…..
Till then, Love!
