Those kids, whom I had taught since 4 months ago were the same kids that I had taught for 4 months 3 years ago while they were still in Nursery.
The only time that I didnt manage to "teach" them often was when they were in K1.
I am really grateful to have been given the opportunity to teach and watch them grow. And they did.
Some became way smarter, some became way taller, while others became way bigger.. haaha
I felt an overwhelming mixed of emotions last friday. Not only becuase I will never see them again, but because this year will also be my final year doing relief.
Insyallah if all goes well (& provided I am able to find a job by this year), then I'll be starting my full time job beginning of next year.
Took loads of pictures with the kids, ate with them during their farewell party time, and just had fun! I also used the entire week to talk about primary school life so that they will not experience shock while entering into the next phase of their lives.
How time flies.
Can't imagine if I have my own kids.
One moment they are babies, while the next they started growing so fast in front of you...
Guess that's life!
p/s: Glad the meet-the-parents session went well. Though I'm not the real form teacher, I'm grateful that parents respect my feedback and suggestions for their kids to go to primary school, and want to hear more from me. Their feedback and concerns were all carefully addressed and I'm sure the session was extremely fruitful for both parents and teacher, I must say :)
