Yes peeps, 3 weeks of suffering in silence.
3 weeks of coming to school before sunrise and coming back home in the wee hours.
3 weeks of physical and mental fatigue.
3 weeks of trying to juggle not only school stuffs, BUT WORK & HOUSE CHORES as well.
3 weeks of rush madness, and stage frights to be preparing for presentations and finally doing the presentation in front of the entire class.
3 weeks of memorising speeches.
3 weeks of juggling between projects and studying for tests.
3 weeks of collating and editing reports, and preparing slides.
3 weeks of sleeping less than 4 hours each day.
3 weeks of coming to school on weekends.
Thus, the lack of updates in my blog... Apologies for that ;)
Oh well, I kinda have 1 more last report to submit next week but I'm kind of 70% done with it, so no issues on that...
Though the 3 weeks had been hectic, I must thank Mr. HHH alot for his moral support.
He came to fetch me from Bukit Batok to City Hall to Bedok when I was still in school at 12am. The next day when I had to report to work at 8am, he knew I wouldn't be able to wake up my usual timing. So he took the initiative to fetch me from Bukit Batok to Bedok to Kallang.
I am really touched, from the bottom of my heart...
Anyways, this final semester of school has been really crazy!
I think it's also partly due to the fact that I was juggling between 2 jobs (tuition & relief teaching) in between.
I still have classes till end of this week. Next week is study break and 2 weeks later will be the final exams. Can't believe the term is almost coming to an end.
Though I rant and complain about school life and how I can't wait for it to be over, truth is: I will miss school life.
I'll miss my friends
I'll miss the flexible hours
I'll miss not turning up for classes without valid reasons/MC
I'll miss turning up for classes putting on my best clothes and shoes
I'll miss turning up for classes with only jeans and slippers (selipar jepun) when my mood is really lazy
I'll miss the tea-break sessions
I'll miss the sneaking-behind-laptops-when-lessons/presentations-are-very-boring moments
I'll miss the cheap malay food from the canteen lady
I'll miss JUST BEING A STUDENT
Can't blame me, I've been in the tertiary education for about 6.5 years now. The norms of a tertiary education has been cultivated in my blood...
Truth is, I don't really like the working life. If I hadn't had big plans come next year, I would have taken my time to find a job especially in this crisis. But now, I need to start looking for a job soon!
Anyways, enough ranting about school.
I'm down with cough right now.
My mum had been hit by the flu bug, and she was ill with cough, flu and fever since last Sunday. Lost her voice temporary now and still at home on MC.
My brother got it too, but his condition is better than my mum.
Hope my mum gets well soon... She hadn't been cooking, and we had spent quite a big portion eating out since last Sunday...
Tomorrow will be the K2 Meet-The-Parents session. For the record, they will be ending school this Friday, and we'll be having a farewell party in class this Friday!
Yippee!!
Ok, gonna stop here now. I'm going to start on the children's evaluation form for tomorrow's session.
Wish me luck! Been a long time since I last met with parents... geezzz
Signing off,

Angel
p/s: I so missed my summer holiday to Genting :(
