Done!

My exams are finally over. School is over. My interview was over. The excruciating pain period is almost over. Alhamdullilah....

*i feel like ranting, so bear with me*..

Before I start, let me give an excerpt of my conversation with the doctor last Monday.

Me: I think my entire ear is swollen. It's getting very painful, affecting my head & jaw blablabla..

Doctor: Ok, I'll check. [after checking].. OH MY, your entire ear is swollen. Even your ear canal is too narrow.

Me: Is it ear wax?

Doctor: No, it's not.

Me: So should I still continue to put the ear drops?

Doctor: Don't bother. The liquid will never be able to flow through your ear canal.

Me: (in my heart) No wonder even when I lay down for 2 hours, the liquid is still stagnant at my ear and will start flowing down when I start shifting my head!

So imagine how bad it was... :(

That aside, I am really really [and I mean really] thankful that I could answer the exam questions relatively well, given the amount of effort I put in. I know my efforts couldn't compare with some other SMU students who spent the entire week mugging in school/library.

For me, I only started studying last Friday. Had to fall sick on Saturday and the rest is history. Though I tried my very best to study when I was sick, I could only last for an hour before my head starts spinning - a call for me to stop to sleep. I had 2 papers yesterday and I believe all went well. After the 2 papers yesterday, met Mr. HHH to recce for my interview place. We walked from Orchard MRT & god, it was so far!! Mr. HHH couldn't send me for the interview today since he need to report back to camp for some exercise... the guys may understand why... *winks*

To make things worse, I became so tired by the time I came back. Such that I took the medicine & went to sleep! I woke up at 2am, tried to study for today's paper but I could only last till 3.30am. Went back to sleep and only woke up at 10am. By that time, I was left with so little time to study. Not to mention no time at all to prepare for the interview.

End result: I had to keep flipping my textbook for answers to every questions! I wasted quite a bit of time because once I had found the specific section, I had to try reading and understanding the concept before I could answer the questions.

After the exam today, I swore I was seeing stars. My eyes just went blank from all that glaring and flipping of the book. And boy, am I glad it's over!

I think the interview went quite well also... Don't know whether I'll get it or not. Even if I don't get it, I don't think I'll be very upset since I know I had done my very best I could despite being sick. My ear is still swollen & blocked, but I'm really glad I could hear what the interviewer was asking.. Imagine if I can't :)

My trip will be this coming Saturday. Think I will start packing tomorrow once I get my luggage. All new clothes had been washed... Donno whether I should iron them first... Maybe not!

Now, I'm not sure if I will recover in time. True, the pain is no longer there but I believe it's the help of the stronger pain-killers. Whatever it is, my jaw still hurts a little when chewing and my ear is still blocked. N tomorrow is already Thursday...
