I hate my Tuesdays, people! In a month's time, my class will start from 8.30pm till 1.30pm. Afterwhich, my project meetings will be from 1.30-7pm. At 7.30pm, the Dubai class will start till 1045pm! Gosh... that really sucks.
For the time being, since the projects have not started, I had no choice but to head home during the 6 hour break. Which means, I have wasted 4 trips going to and back school!! The end result? I came home about 12am yesterday after the class ended at 1050pm. I was waiting for the bus with an empty stomach. When the bus came, I realised that the aircon was at full blast. Upon alighting, strong winds blew my guts out. I didn't sleep till 3am this morning trying to settle the last minute homework due 1pm today.
While typing this entry, I am seriously feeling a bit feverish... Argh, hope I don't get sick soon. Thank god today's class is cancelled since the prof has some training class to attend. I'll be spending the day resting, before I start on another assignment due next week...

Biased Profs. In SMU, if you are well-liked by your prof/course instructors + if you do your work consistently, to get an A is very easy. But if the prof don't like you for whatever reasons, then all the best to your grades!
So yesterday, in a class of mine, this girl that the prof really likes (and it is so obviously seen by the rest of us) decided to drop her class to join another of her class. And it really2 was a benefit for all of us because we all know where this is going...

The construction noise! My residential area is currently undergoing major upgrading. Last year, they rebuilt my toilets & my pipes. Then, the per-level lifts were built. Now, they are building a multi-storey carpark at my existing carpark. And since yesterday, they have been digging up the walk-way to the bustops to do the piping & some shelter thingy.
This will only be completed sometime next year, meaning I have to endure all the noises for another 400 days or so!!

11 August 2008 will mark my 2nd year obtaining my driver's license but till now, I still can't park properly. And I have never tried doing parallel parking.
Oh, hold your horses now.. You see, I obtained my license on 11 Aug 2006. And at that time, I don't have a family car. So I ended up not driving for 1 whole year. No practice, no nothing. Mr. HHH only rented an auto car for me to drive on my 21st birthday.
As of 1 aug 2007, my sis bought herself an off-peak manual car. So after 1 whole year of not driving, I have lost my basic judgment of parking. Surprisingly, I am able to manoeuver the clutch & gears etc but my parking sucks.
And the fact that it is an off-peak car doesn't really helps. During weekdays, the car can only be driven out from 7pm onwards. I have to give that a miss since my class ended late most of the days. By the time I got home, tons of assignments needs to be done. Come Saturday, my dad will usually take the car to wash it, send my mum etc. Come Sunday, either I will be resting at home or somebody else will be using the car. That explains the lack of practice.
My resolution: To conquer my fear & in-confidence of parking before I reach 11 Aug 2008...
Till then, Love!
