First thing in 2008

A day has passed since 2008 first showed...

And the first thing I did in the new year:
Had a picnic with Mr. HHH at ECP.

Haha, and naive me. I thought there wouldn't be a lot of people since the kids will be starting school today. But hell, was I wrong!

ECP was crowded! We couldn't even secure a space on the sands near the beach. So, we settle at somewhere close the breakwaters. And since we were seated so far away, it was quite inconvenient to swim in the sea.

The spread: Nasi Goreng Kampung specially cooked by yours truly, bread with peanut butter, Pringles, Cadbury Bytes, Willow Pillow, some multigrain crackers & ice lemon tea! For 2 person, I guess it's a lot... But we managed to finish up all,except for the bread, which I had brought home to eat with the strawberry jam. ;)

The picnic only lasted for about 2 hours because it started drizzling. And since both of us had just recovered from the flu bug, we decided to make a move. Since he was also on night shift yesterday, we continued our "picnic" in the comfort of the car...


















Countdown to school starts: 5 days
Which reminds me, I need to get an organiser & some stationeries...
