Missing Me

Finally. I am almost (i still have some assignments to do but not urgent) free to pen an entry tonight.

First thing: Kangwei! I am so jealous of you!!! You were playing the snow and visiting the hotel made ENTIRELY of ice while I'm slogging like mad in school the past week!!! Anyway peeps, Kangwei is currently on exchange at Sweden & he's been travelling around quite a bit. That aside, the past week had been crazy! 95% of deadlines to meet + a very terrifying & challenging presentation that just took place yesterday. Yes, on a saturday but I think my group did very well for it. Alhamdullilah... I don't even have time to reply to emails much less to blog...

Besides school, I did manage to spend some time with my loved ones last week... Despite being busy, I still manage to handle my time very well to socialize.. Heh
So here's a gist of it...

Last Sat (not yest): Mr. HHH accompanied me to source for several things for my trip. I thought that since the trip is now in a month's time, it'll be good to start preparing for it... So some things I bought include sunglasses from Tangs, a travel bag from World of Sports, a FILA waterbottle and a new business top. I still need to buy a pair of jeans, 1 more pair of black pants, to send my blazer for alteration, toiletries, replenish my basic make-up set, prob some disposable undies, a pair of black heels & sandals with a strap at the back. For the shoes, I already secured a $40 Tangs voucher, so I'll be grabbing those for FREE! Yoohooo....

Mon - Thurs: School day + meetings from morning till late, not to mention that I'm teaching tuition every Mon & Thurs

Fri: Went to school for the presentation rehearsal & resume critique. Met Mr. HHH for a movie (Step Up 2 The Streets). It was free since I got complimentary tix from my sis who is working part-time at GV... Heh

An embarassing moment: We decided to watch the movie at Jurong Point. So after school, I boarded the train from City Hall. Around Red Hill, I managed to get a seat and before long, I fall asleep. Woke up when the train reached Clementi. I thought, I'll just close my eyes till I reach Boon Lay. I slept all the way & only woke up when a chinese auntie gave me a nudge signalling we have reached Boon Lay. I woke up with a fright, only to realized the guys who booked out from C.D. were staring at me! Damn embarassing! I swear if no one had woke me up, I'll be sent back to the east!!!

Sat: Presentation + another class. Then meeting. Went home, cleaned the house and drove to my uncle's chalet at Pasir Ris Way. Yup, I drove my aunt & cousins & my own siblings. There were a total of 8 people in the car. [Read: Fully Loaded]

It was a huge bangalow with a private pool. After eating, my cousins & I went out to check the pool. None of us brought clothes, which I very much regret. Then, my brother started taking off his clothes and with shorts, jumped into the pool. My male cousins followed suit. Before long, all of us was asking around and borrowing other's swimming clothes. Be it shorts and t-shirts or the diving suit. I was given a pair & jumped in the water with glee. We swam from about 9+ to 1130pm. We took lots of pics but because I wasnt wearing my tudung, so I wont post it up :) A well deserved break from school in deed.

Sun(today): I officially turned from a student professional to a full time maid today. Nobody was at home, so I cleaned the entire house all by myself. I cleaned my cat's cages and then.... I laterally HAND-WASHed 2 days of clothes (of the entire family & there's 7 people in all) since my washing machine broke down!!!

Can you believe it? Now my hands & shoulders are aching like crazy.... I begged my mum to quickly buy another machine. Hope my wish come true soon...

Tomorrow is monday again & I just checked my mail to realize that there are 2 sudden meetings to attend tomorrow... great. [Read: NOT]

p/s: Sorry Maini, cant go out with ya today... I kinda overspent last Sat so im on tight budget control till the end of the month ;)

p/p/s: I have decided to buy a new Panasonic Lumix FS5 camera. Any comments on that model?
