Miracles

About 2 days back, a friend of mine asked if I ever believed in miracles.

My answer: Yes

From dictionary.com, miracles is defined as a wonder or a work of God. I believe miracles happen when it's fated/written in your destiny to happen.

A very recent example:

Given my family's financial capabilities, I knew that I can never afford to go on an exchange program or on a business study mission (BSM). I was on my internship last year when the BSM to Middle East started for the first time. Around August last year, a friend of mine (we used to be in the same class but never close) started talking to me about the BSM program & that financial assistance is available.

I signed up for the program, secured an interview and managed to get a place despite 60 other applications (competitions).

Remember my previous post on "Travel Plans - Goodies"? That time, I had to choose between Emirates Palace vs Burj Al Arab for lunch. Though I'm tempted to go for both, I eventually chose Emirates Palace & told myself that there'll always be a next time to visit Burj.

Last week, I received an email that Emirates Palace was cancelled (i forgot the reason). And with the help of my T.A., I managed to secure a place for Burj.

And this afternoon, a kind soul had helped me pay for the goodies first since I had some difficulty paying myself at the last minute notice.

And not forgetting the help I've been receiving from my beloved Mr. HHH whom without him I know I won't accomplish a lot of other things like my driving license.

So I do believe in miracles and that if something is fated or destined to happen to you, it will happen even when you are not looking. Probably something for all of us to ponder about in our lifes...
