She specially cooked Mee Bandung by herself since none of us could cook. My dad knows the art of cooking but since yesterday was a working day, he skipped that. He did surprise my mum with his present tho... hahah
Yes, I'm admitting here that I don't really know how to cook. I can't even sustain a signature taste when cooking instant noodles. Sometimes it would taste soggy & bland (my sis said too much water & noodles soaked too long) & sometimes it would taste salty (my sis said too little water)... So you tell me..
When my grandmama was still alive, I used to enjoy helping her cook because she creates a sense of excitement just to entice me into cooking. I guess if she's still here now, I would be able to cook up a decent meal at least... haha
[digressing]
Anyways, quoting from my sis, "Yang paling touching bila mama cakap dah lama papa tak bagi present kat dia." And we burst laughing. My sis claims that my dad must have watched the show Kpak Bing Bing aired in Suria every tuesday about happy marriages & have gotten some tips from there. *winks*
After school today, I went to buy some cakes from Royals. I felt that buying a whole cake there is not worth it, so I bought 8 different slices instead.

We surprised her with the candles & all by the time she entered the house. That explains the dark photo of her since the lights were all switched off.
